STA*Research - Consultants To The Polymer & Petrochemical Industries
2849 Lakeview Drive SE, Lacey, WA 98503 firstname.lastname@example.org
STA*Research is a world-renowned consultancy specializing in the strategic interpretation of technology for the plastics industry. We are also allied with EnerChemTek, Inc, of Toronto and, with them, can address a wide range of projects for the petrochemicals and energy industries. STA and EnerChemTek have jointly published several multi-client studies on polyethylene technologies and the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene - UHMWPE - industry.
While STA's primary focus is on polyolefin plastics - polyethylenes and polypropylenes - we also cover other plastics that compete with polyolefins in the marketplace. Our specialized services are founded on extensive data bases and proprietary methodologies built and perfected over the past 30 years. We maintain up-to-date and detailed information on polyolefin producers worldwide and continually monitor their activities and apparent strategies. In particular, we monitor new developments in polyolefin technologies and interpret these developments in terms of their potential impact on, and value to, the industry and to specific industry players.
The primary aim of STA*Research is to provide the industry with insights into the role of technology and its exploitation in the achievement of competitive advantage. We provide specialized advice on technology selection, technology exploitation and strategy development. Our clients include polyolefin producers, suppliers to the polyolefin industry such as catalyst & additive developers and producers, and technology-leading customers and market developers who exploit new products based on novel technologies.
STA*Research was founded by Ken Sinclair in 1996 and is based in Foothill Ranch, California, USA. Ken is recognized as an expert on polyolefin technology, and specifically the market/technology interface: the relationships between catalyst/process combinations and the structures, properties, applications, markets, and costs of polymers produced.
